The Academic Senate provides four public listervs, which are a combination email list-serv and Mail Archive service for the academic community of Pratt Institute.

academic-announce: for academic announcements. E-mails sent via this list have the caption [announce] in the Subject line. Post announcement

academic-forum
: for open community discussion. E-mails sent via this list have the caption [forum] in the Subject line. Post message to academic forum

senate-reps is for Senate constitutents (faculty, chairs and persons that teach)- to be used by the Senate for communicating senate actions and issues under discussion. Post message to senate-reps

Senate listservs offer a variety of subscriber options, such as frequency of e-mail delivery to your mailbox:

• No Mail
• Daily Digest
• Live email Feed

Senate listservs provide web-based Mail Archives, sortable by author, date, subject and thread. Mail Avchives are PRIVATE. i.e., only list members are able to access the contents of the list mail archive. They will be prompted for their list password when the try to access the contents.

Subscription is voluntary, free, and open to the Institute's academic community. Please click on to the links on the left, to find out about our communications services and how, and to what extent, you may participate.

NOTE
Senate email listservs are NOT Pratt Institute's universal e-mail System. Therefore, e-mail addresses subscribed to senate lists will be subject to Senate policies and procedures as they relate to information and communications.
