The Academic Senate provides the following three public listervs for the academic community
of Pratt Institute.
Senate listservs are, as of November 17, 2006, on Pratt's MajorCool system.
academic-announce:
exclusively for one-way, academic announcements and not for discussion. This list is AUTO, RESTRICTED and MODERATED. E-mails sent via this list have the caption [announce]
in the Subject line.
academic-forum: for open
community discussion. This list is AUTO, RESTRICTED and UNMODERATED. E-mails sent via this list have the caption [forum] in the Subject line. Post message to academic

senate-constituents: formerly named "senate-reps," this listserv is for Senate constitutents (faculty, chairs and persons that teach), to be used by the Senate for communicating senate actions and issues under discussion. This list is CLOSED, RESTRICTED and UNMODERATED. Post

Senate listservs offer a variety of subscriber
options, such as frequency of e-mail delivery to your mailbox:
- Daily Digest (emails are bundled and sent, once daily)
- Live email Feed
We hope to, in the near future, provide web-based Mail Archives, sortable by author, date, subject
and thread.
Subscription is voluntary, free, and
open to the Institute's academic community. Please click on
to the links on the left, to find out about our communications services and how,
and to what extent, you may participate.
NOTE
1. The learning listserv is disccontinued until further notice

Senate email listservs are NOT Pratt Institute's universal e-mail System. Therefore,
e-mail addresses subscribed to senate lists will be subject to Senate policies
and procedures as they relate to information and communications.
